“One of the Best Bits of Programming Advice I Ever Got”
We all could use a little advice now and then, right? Well Travis Griggs recently had a blog post that generated a lot of interest. The year was 1992, and “Object Oriented” was a new term that few were familiar with. While working on a project with a rather “weird” team and “weird” language called “Smalltalk,” Travis attended a training class, where he received some valuable advice from the instructor. Although it took quite a while before truly appreciating it, he’s now convinced that it’s (in his words) “one of the best bits of programming advice I ever got.”
