Heeg Announces the Purchase of Assets of CS Component Studio GmbH

Köthen, June 20, 2011. Georg Heeg AG announced the purchase of assets of CS Component Studio GmbH including the software and rights of CS Component Set.

CS Component set is a toolbox of ERP components for small and mid-size companies. It has been developed over more than a decade and is in daily use in successful companies throughout Germany. Cincom has published a description of this product in http://www.cincom.com/pdf/CS010712-1.pdf.

Georg Heeg, director of Georg Heeg AG said:

“We know the concept of Component Studio for many years, and we have always believed in the great idea to use Smalltalk to bridge the gap between standard software and individual software to run and control businesses. When we had learned about the difficulties of CS GmbH, we decided to purchase the software. The transaction was completed last week.”

Georg Heeg AG plans to fully support existing customers and to bring the software to an up-to-date level and to implement new and innovative applications.
