Getting More From Your Multicore with Polycephaly

The New York Smalltalk User Group will be having Arden Thomas, the Cincom Smalltalk Product Manager, presenting at this month’s meeting.  Arden will be discussing the subject of “Getting More From Your Multicore with Polycephaly.”  This presentation discusses some basic strategies for how Smalltalk can leverage multi-core computers, and the results of using a new simple framework that is now included with Cincom® ObjectStudio® and Cincom® VisualWorks®.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, February 24.  Open house will begin at 6:30 PM followed by Arden’s presentation at 7 PM. Beverages will be available.
