The latest releases of the Cincom Smalltalk suite are out: Cincom® ObjectStudio® 8.2.1, Cincom® VisualWorks® 7.7.1, and Cincom WebVelocity® 1.1. There’s a fair amount of new stuff, even though this is a point release. Click here for more information.
Smalltalk Solutions 2011 Call for Prosposals and Venue Information
Smalltalk Solutions is back! The conference will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 13–16, 2011, and conference organizers are looking for proposals from those who are interested in making presentations at the conference. Code for “Object-Oriented Implementation of Numerical Methods” Released under the MIT License
The code for a new addition to the Morgan Kaufmann Series in Software Engineering and Programming has been released under the MIT License. Object-Oriented Implementation of Numerical Methods: An Introduction with Java and Smalltalk is available via Amazon.com.

Cincom recently announced the quarterly results of its customer-service survey conducted from May 2010 through August 2010. Over 350 surveys were sent only to customers who had actually used Cincom support services. Click here to find out the results.
