PRESENTATION: Content Management with SeaBreeze – Karsten Kusche
While seaBreeze provides a graphical editor for HTML, it is too fine-grained to be feasible as an editor for normal websites that only show content. It also requires some Smalltalk knowledge to create and link seaBreeze websites. To solve the problem, a Content Management System was build on top of seaBreeze that allows novice users to describe and edit their content and then use seaBreeze to define the actual website that displays the content. This separation of content and design also allows for creating mobile applications and desktop applications that both share the same content, yet display it in a different way.
